When you play to your strengths it opens up a wealth of opportunities because most things worth striving for, call on your strength, that inner mechanism that burns within you so you to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Like Novak, when you go through difficult times your fundamental values help you find something deep within you that fuels you to push past the pain. When you’re able to transmute the pain your experiencing and turn it into something positive, you not only build strength but endurance.

To Newport, it’s not about being immediately concerned with whether you love doing the job. However, your strength comes by developing your skills to master the job. When you master your skills, he believes new opportunities become available to you.
