The definition of boldness is “the willingness to take risks and act innovatively; confidence or courage.”

The Oxford English dictionary states that boldness is “the quality of being brave and confident and not being afraid to say what you feel or to take risks”

Being bold as a fundamental core value allows you to become up-front and candid in what you say and do.

It is a refreshing state of being because it gives you the freedom to ask for what you want. Asking for what you want is the first step towards your emancipation.

“defining what actually will give your life true being.”

Because it’s only when you’re clear about what you want from life that you will take the steps to attract the resources you want. Whether it’s spending more time with your family, or becoming financially independent in starting a new business.

As Rhonda Byrne extols in her book The Secret, you attract what you think and feel through the law of attraction, so you’re rewarded if you’re sufficiently bold to ask for what they want.

The more passion and zeal you put into your request for what you want the more the universe will reward you.

“find the time to do what makes your heart sing.”

When we look at the Christians position on boldness the Bible states —

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

How To Command Respect?

To command respect, you have to earn it and there are defined ways that you can do this which is —

  1. Being sensitive – Always be sensitive to everyone you come into contact with. The act of being sensitive is being mindful of other people’s feelings. It’s an ability to understand what might not impact one person could for whatever reason could upset someone else.

The important thing to remember is that anger doesn’t help matters it merely makes you feel bad.

Faith – Build Confidence and Inner Strength

The definition of faith is “complete trust or confidence in someone or something.”

There are different types of faith you can have faith in God, faith in yourself, and having a great day. As a Christian, my faith in God is a core value that is massively important to me.

The Bible states –

“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Matthew 21:22 ESV

“When you’re sensitive you’re alive to the concerns and needs of others”

If you have faith in something you have hope and an expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen.

Take a moment to consider what you want to achieve in life?

On a scale of 1 -10, 1 being little hope and 10 being maximum hope how much faith do you have that it will happen?

Without faith in what you do, you won’t have the confidence to turn it into a reality.

However, faith is a belief in what you cannot see. The Bible states –

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

“always believe in yourself”

Hebrews 11:1

Sensitive is a crucial personal core value and one which you should practise if you want to get anyway in life. When you’re sensitive you’re alive to the concerns and needs of others and able to empathize and share the feelings of others.

“consider how you can make others feel loved”

When you’re sensitive it means you’re prepared to give attention to someone. It’s also about understanding the complexities of human frailty and speaking and interacting with others in a kind and pragmatic way.

Sensitivity also brings the personal core value of self-awareness causing you to look inward to explore ways you can care for and look after others.

Take a moment to consider who you can use your ability to be sensitive to nurture and bring happiness to others in a meaningful and positive way.
